WANA (Oct 15) – Ismail Baghaei, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, warned against the continuation of crimes committed by the Israeli regime despite the announcement of a ceasefire.
Baghaei condemned the Israeli regime’s attacks and assaults on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours — which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of at least ten people — as well as the destruction of olive groves, the burning of residential homes in the West Bank, and the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremist Zionist settlers. He called on the guarantors of the ceasefire to hold the Israeli regime accountable and to compel it to halt its crimes.
The spokesperson of Iran’s Foreign Ministry reminded that the occupying regime has a habitual pattern of violating agreements and exploiting ceasefire opportunities to continue its criminal actions against Palestinians. He warned of the consequences of any inaction by the ceasefire guarantors in response to the Zionist regime’s aggressions against the people of Gaza.
