Meghan Markle has faced harsh criticism from a Royal commentator who slammed her as being “off-key” with her latest “juvenile” and “very unroyal” video.
The Duchess of Sussex posted to her official Instagram account late Monday evening, sharing a reel from her recent New York City trip with Prince Harry.
The peculiar video sparked questions about Meghan’s connection with ordinary people, as the Duchess flaunted rows of high-end clothing and footwear inside her luxury hotel suite.
Prince Harry also appears in the footage, seen dressed down and shoeless in their accommodation, sporting gray sweatpants and a coordinating shirt while clutching his cell phone and grinning at his spouse.
Additional scenes featuring the prince show the pair preparing for their address before an awards ceremony where they received humanitarian honors, plus the Sussexes beaming for photographers on the red carpet.
“You feel that the allure of luxury is irresistible to her, but she should bear in mind that it would be beyond the reach of many.”
He continued, “The trip was about a serious subject to which the Sussexes have contributed. This mish-mash of a video looked juvenile, unsophisticated and very unroyal.”
Concerning their Humanitarians of the Year recognition at the Project Healthy Minds World Mental Health Day Gala, Mr Fitzwilliams characterized it as “unsurprising” since their charitable organization, Archewell, collaborates with Project Healthy Minds in co-producing conversations centered on change makers in the mental health arena.
