The world of Bridgerton is expanding, and this time, things are going to be magical than ever. Netflix released the highly anticipated teaser for the fourth season of the romantic drama, promising new love stories and plenty of intrigue within London’s high society. It has already been established that the upcoming season will focus on Benedict Bridgerton (played by Luke Thompson) as he embarks on a journey to find the love of his life.
The official X (formerly known as Twitter) account of the series shared a couple of clips from the forthcoming season and offered a glimpse of the fresh faces that are set to stir up the ton once again. The first clip saw Benedict and the new character, Sophie Baek (played by Yerin Ha), crossing each other on a staircase. Their hands touch, and they look at each other, sparking a moment that feels both tender and full of unspoken possibilities.
Season 4 will be divided into two parts, with the first part arriving on January 29, 2026, and the second part on February 26. Just like the third season, this edition will also consist of 8 episodes. The caption read, “Do we rise to the occasion or do we bury ourselves deeper amidst society’s secrets? We shall find out soon enough … Bridgerton Season 4 shall arrive in two parts, Part 1: January 29; Part 2: February 26.”
Meanwhile, in the second clip, Benedict enters what seems to be a party, and as soon as he enters the event, every girl starts noticing him, wanting to talk to him. However, he doesn’t seem to be interested in talking with them. The clip ends with this season’s main protagonist catching sight of Sophie as she gazes up at the grand chandelier, her eyes lighting up with awe.
This season might turn out to be the most important one because it could change the course of the series. Based on Julia Quinn’s novel An Offer from a Gentleman, the story will span across different seasons, giving a new perspective. This change not only proves that the makers are following the source material, but it also proves that audiences will see all the major characters in different phases of life. Bridgerton is one of the most-watched Netflix shows of all time and continues to be a force to be reckoned with. Season 1 is the fifth-most-watched English-language series of all time, with 113 million views in the first 91 days of its release.
On the other hand, Season 3 of the Netflix show sits comfortably at No. 8. It wouldn’t come as a shock if the upcoming season overtakes at least one of them and creates a staggering record for the series. Nonetheless, fans are eagerly waiting for the next chapter of Bridgerton.
