  1. If prosecuting Ice agents isn’t your position,  you don’t get my vote.  The harsher the penalties the better.

  2. Do it!!! This should have happened a long time ago.

  3. Hey, you *do* something. Don’t just *talk* about it. If you have grounds to file state charges you can do that *right now* and state convictions *can’t* be given a presidential pardon.

Talk but no action is just posturing.

  4. Give ’em hell, JB! Even without ID, *somebody* rented those cars with the license plates in the videos.

And even if this goes nowhere, I think I can speak on behalf of many of my neighbors when I say Chicago will never forgive or forget what ICE is doing here.

  5. Trump can pardon all of them all he wants. That isn’t going to stop states from filing state charges for violating the laws of their state. Please!!!!

  6. The problem might be finding enough state police who don’t support ICE.

This is setting up for a standoff between armed state police and armed ICE terrorists.

  7. Cool JB, now fucking do it, instead of just talking about it. Every day that no action is taken, more innocent people suffer at the hands of ICE.

  8. *Someone* needs to hold ICE agents accountable for their assaults on peaceful protestors. Hopefully, he will have them prosecuted.

  9. Prosecute them. Dissolve their lease on their facility. They’ve been using it to conduct activities outside the scope of their mission and oppress normal, everyday Americans.

    Fight back!!!

  10. This is what your have to do. If lower level employees believe they are at risk of prosecution maybe just maybe they will think twice about bad acts like violence against those that are peacefully protesting or bystanders.

That being said, good luck on making this stick at a state level. I think IL would have to change or create new laws around this but if they do I recommend they try giving people the ability to sue the agents and pierce immunity at the state level.

  11. Do it.. JB, if you are serious about a 2028 run, this is what people need to see

  12. Yes…State crimes. No federal pardons to save them.

  13. It’s ironic.

Crime WAS going down across America, until ICE showed up.

Now it’s a wave of __ICE crime__. Everywhere you look, ICE agents are committing crimes against innocent residents. ICE is making America more dangerous for everyone.

  14. This is going to be an unfortunate but necessary step in pushing back on fascism. Charge ICE agents with violating state law so that federal pardons are not applicable. Then put them in state prison.

States would be within their rights to do this and it could effectively curb some of the worst incursions we’re seeing. However, it is inevitably going to provoke a violent confrontation somewhere. Agents on both sides are armed, and they’re both being told they have the authority…even if in ICE’s case it isn’t true.

  15. Federal Law enforcement are not immune to state laws.

    Make laws, enforce the laws.

  16. Please do it, Gov. Pritzker!  Stop the rough-handling of citizens.

  17. How do I’ve members identify each other? What would happen if everyone just started cosplaying as ice?

  18. He should. Someone needs to reign in their most egregious acts, at minimum. Shooting peaceful protestors in the head with “non-lethal” rounds, ramming into bystander’s vehicles, beating “suspects” and bystanders, to list a few.

  19. Finally. You can’t arrest people without due process. This is all unreasonable search and seizure and there are probably hundreds of cases of unlawful detainment and arrest of US citizens. I honestly don’t understand how the courts are allowing this to happen in the first place. SCOTUS has really taken a back seat here.

  20. Please. If an ICE agent commits a crime like assault or violates someone’s constitutional rights then they need to be prosecuted. It’s insane that this has become a controversial statement.

Masks and 0 identification needs to be illegal for law enforcement, also.

  21. P Grabber called you a slob. Sue the administration for defamation

  22. ICE must have records of who these people are and where they go. Lawyers will eventually get these records and nail these people.

  23. I don’t understand why Newsom didn’t order CHP to arrest ICE agents in CA. They all need to be in state prison

  24. I’m no lawyer, but it would seem like kidnapping people is against state law.
