Performance was woeful though. Don’t deserve a place in the finals playing like that. If we qualify we’re stuck with Heimir for longer. If we don’t it’s hard to see who can come in and improve things.

Even when down to 10 men I didnt trust this Irish team to get the job done, Armenia still had more possession and caused us problems, this campaign has been a disaster, with hungry drawing tonight any hopes of us getting to a play off are gone, there’s no way we’ll get anything for the last two games playing like we are now.
World cup hopes is a massive stretch lads. We need to beat Hungary away by at least 2 goals and take a point against Portugal.
Or Armenia can do us a favour against Hungary.

Northern Ireland looked really good last night in comparison. They really took to game to Germany and were unlucky not to get a result. What are they doing right that we are not?

Misery, misery, misery here. We were always third favourites in the group and still have a slim chance of the playoffs.
We would’ve hammered them by three or four tonight had their keeper not made 3 incredible saves.
People here acting like we dont have second tier midfield duo . Lack a serious midfielder. No chance they qualify and even if they did by a miracle they’d just be the whipping boys of a world cup .
