I was in a hostel in Riga and an old man was telling me about his travels. He's been travelling for 35 years and told me some of the kindest and nicest people he's ever met were from Estonia and that Estonia is his favourite country in the baltics!
So I hopped on a bus to test out his theory myself.
Straight away I was shocked at how modern the country is. Tall shiny buildings, lots of wifi, everything so convenient, it's something I didn't expect from such a small country.
But what shocked me the most was how friendly and open the people were who I met. I had so many amazing interactions with strangers which I wouldn't really have in other countries, also people were stunning, every two steps a super model walks by.
Another thing I loved was value for money, I think Estonia is priced better than Latvia! I got food for good price!
Coming from Ireland I'm super jealous at you Estonians for living in such a beautiful country!
My trip is here by the way 🙂 https://youtu.be/tW9An2XK_IE

Estonia is bestonia 🙂
Thanks and welcome to Estonia!
watched the video. love your carefree optimistic outlook to places and travels. btw Nolan filmed scenes from “Tenet” in Linnahall.
next time take some time out and visit Tartu somewhere at the end of May – August. you dont want to leave, heheh
I enjoyed the first four minutes of the video. Then I saw that you said ‘sposibo’ in the souvenir shop and ‘privyet’ to another seller on the street. Dude 🙁
I’m glad that you like Estonia. But try to be original, tell a story, interact with locals, be honest what you think etc. For every tourist there are some little everyday things that makes them wonder while travelling: hey thats something new. And not everything is positive. People crave for original, honest, no bs content.
Otherwise you will be one of 1000s youtubers visiting the same touristy places, telling the same empty story, often missing half. Meanwhile facts get blurred or are outright wrong.
If you recommend visiting Estonia for soviet heritage, then truly go fuck yourself. That is wrong story to tell, the one to be ashamed of. There is so much more than that.
Estonia is wonderful! I hope you tasted some local chebureki and perhaps bought a matryoshka.
See you again, or as they say – do svidaniya!
