Labor Minister Mohammad Haidar has participated in the Union for the Mediterranean’s High-Level Policy Conference on Employment and Work, held in Malta under the theme “Exploring the Future of Jobs and Skills in the Mediterranean.” Addressing a ministerial panel, Haidar emphasized balancing digital transformation with green growth and strengthening youth participation in policy-making.
Haidar highlighted Lebanon’s ongoing vocational training initiatives and stressed integrating social protection into labor policies.
On the sidelines, the Minister met Maltese Interior and Employment Minister Byron Camilleri to discuss bilateral labor cooperation, before heading to Doha to attend the Islamic Labor Ministers Conference.
