  2. I can’t imagine being in this horrifying situation. Hopefully this ceasefire is permanent.

  3. It’s good to see these people return home after all they’ve been through. I can only hope that Hamas gets their shit together and returns the bodies so the ceasefire can continue and no more innocent lives are needlessly lost.

    So much death, suffering, and devastation over the past two years. Hoping that against all odds we can actually see some level of peace return.

For anyone curious, hostages in this week’s release reported that some their civilian captors included a doctor and a first-grade teacher (I’m inferring UNRWA because they’rethe primary provider of educationservices and their employees have a history of participating in Hamas atrocities, but it’s not explicitly written)

  11. Israel has just confirmed that one of the bodies returned is not a hostage.

    Hamas will never change.

  13. Imagine coming out of that situation, and seeing vast swathes of people supporting Hamas
