Hello everybody

Is someone in this train?
I lost a bag with three canvases and a jacket inside. I need them this week so it's kinda urgent.
I did already a Verlustmeldung via SBB

Thanks for all help!

  1. Ah, that is the train where I have left my iphone 16 Pro some weeks ago. I could track it till Interlaken, went to some living area and was never seen again 🙁

    Wish you good luck!

  2. I guess you already paid for the luggage retrieval via SBB right? The 50 CHF? If this offers any comfort to you, I lost a bag a few weeks ago and was able to retrieve it though it was a train from Basel – Lucerne – Lugano – Chiasso.

I chatted with the very nice lady at the SBB station and according to them, retrieval rate is around 80+ %, hppe you get it 🙏

  3. Good luck! I recently left my tennis things on a train in Cham heading for Sursee. The train went all the way to Sursee and back, and I hopped on the train in Cham 2 hours later and grabbed the bag where I left it!

So worst case scenario, if you’re by the bahnhof and the train comes back the same direction, you could test your luck.

  4. When this happened to me, I immediately went to a ticket inspector on the train I was currently on and asked him for help, he straight out whipped out his phone and called the inspector on the train with my luggage on it, somehow he knew who to call, and my bag was secured at the next station of said train within minutes.. swiss ticket inspectors have their network!

  5. Looking at the train schedule I’m fairly confident that this train is returning to Bern at 20:56 (and stopping there until 21:02). You could go have a look and see if it is still there.

Except if you sat in the single decker carriages, then you can save yourself the trip because these got detached in Interlaken.

But I wouldn’t get the hopes up too much because the train should have gotten cleaned in Interlaken and then the cleaners have most likely found it and brought it to the logistics department to send it to the lost and found.
