In most bread in Aldi/Lidel/Denner you can taste the cheap, and in the other once you can taste the cheap but they are mostly fat so still yummy.

But seriously, nothing is good enough. If it is cheaper then that’s the problem, if more expensive then that’s the problem.

Ich hätte es lieber, wenn sie nicht nachziehen würden. Halbweissbrot und Ruchbrot sind ja schon billig genug (1.00 statt 1.20 ist im gesamten Warenkorb absolut irrelevant). Gerne können sie ihre Preise beibehalten und stattdessen Landwirten einen faireren Preis zahlen.
Price goes down at the expense of the environment and people in the workforce. But now there’s no SP or Green Party screaming foul of course.
