  1. They picked a bad time to do this. The Mariners game is on tonight and as an angel fan I want to see them lose!

  2. In practical terms, what is this town hall even going to achieve? Is it just going to be AOC and Bernie making “haha miller man short” jokes for a couple hours? Or more hollow statements with no message or action behind them?

  3. Any way to watch for free online? Seems like Fubo TV free trial might be the best bet?

  4. I asked them what the dems plan was to prevent the next republican trifecta from just illegally destroying everything they want to accomplish just like trump is now. I dont expect them to use my question.

  5. She is the democratic candidate for 2028. I am not too sure about a VP. Maybe someone slightly to the right of AOC. I wish it could be Sanders, but my man is older than Yoda.

  6. Anyone shocked that it doesn’t sound like any Republicans have agreed to participate?

  7. Yep Mike Johnson is so Kompromat that he won’t even swear in a legally voted in member.. The Republicans are going to destroy this country by ignoring the constitution and allowing the Nazi regime to win the war.

  8. “Democrat who voted for Trump” my ass. He’s a Republican.

  9. Watching this makes me sad we never got bernie as president

  10. They’re kinda saying nothing so far and not really answering people’s questions, especially Aoc who has brought up booker multiple times for some reason.

  11. Fuck you Kaitlin for asking stupid fucking questions that don’t matter to this discussion!

  12. Love these two.

In just 32 minutes, Bernie & AOC have shown more competence, intellect, integrity, maturity and class than Trump, his administration & every Republican member of congress has shown the last 10 years.

Listening to these two speak is so refreshing compared to Trump & all the MAGA losers.

  13. Please stop talking about the 1%, The problem is that the average person never sees or ever interacts with a 1%er,,, but they see and interact with people and immigrants on public assistants every single day, so it is easy for the Rebuplican message to divide us. It is not the person on food stamps holding you back, it is the guy with the jet and the island keeping you from providing for your family while your wife takes care of the house and the kids.. yes I still blamed a 1%er but didn’t phrase it the same way which if you ever talk to anyone they believe that they are only not a 1%er because of the people on food stamps.

  14. So I love Bernie and AOC a lot, but it almost seemed to me that neither of the three first questions were addressed directly? The first three questions were immediate material concerns from federal workers essentially asking for immediate resources; I thought it was going to be a slam dunk chance to tap in with the raw emotional engine driving the working class’s sense of urgency and struggle right now…their answers sort of seemed like they were copy-and-pasteable to any type of question 😥

  15. Notice Bernie used ACTUAL percentages like 70, 80 or 90 percent to describe savings.

Not some fake numbers like 300, 400 or 500% like Trump does.

  16. Remind me again why we didn’t vote Bernie in 2016. Maybe Trump wouldn’t have won.

  17. They’re being far too respectful of the democratic leadership. The party’s future is with AOC

  18. Damn, Bernie and AOC yelling about the media not talking about real issues and going back to political talk when the country is falling apart reminds me of a black mirror episode.

  19. Rough start not directly answering questions, but a much better showing in the second segment.

It’s also clear that AOC is ready to lead this. She is a better communicator in moments like this for the majority of folks who, like she, come from the modern day lower and middle class.

I love Bernie and will stand with him on just about anything, but AOC no longer needs him to lead out front.

  20. The Republicans are desperate. They just rushed to show me a political ad on CNN from “spanbergerlies” website.

Don’t show me this shit. I don’t care!

  21. Not a good way to spin this but this was not a good night for either of these two.

  22. I expect Kaitlin Collins to have Blonde hair and cologne lips next week.
