We were there and it was great fun, absolutely loved it!
I used to watch Sumo when it was on Channel 4… many years ago. That and Kabaddi.
The first official sumo competition outside of Japan in 34 years apparently, would have loved to have been able to witness it
I am massively against football matches being held outside of the home country but I’d say this is a different kettle of fish – I guess sumo practitioners don’t have an intrinsic link to a geographic area like football clubs have
Guys it’s on iPlayer all week :)))
I looked into this after seeing it advertised and was really excited to go. Then I saw it was £200 a ticket. Wild.
