With the post about the 90s and NI, and a post about joyriding, it reminded me of this film. It was a pretty decent indie movie set in Belfast. Anyone else remember it?

  1. We had an oul tape we passed between the lads.

Must have watched it 50 times.

  2. Watched it for the first time last year on YouTube. It still holds up.

  3. Great film from back in the day. Some better copies on YouTube to be fair. Bronagh done very well for herself.

  4. When I started teaching back over 20 years ago, I used to do the odd day subbing in West Belfast. Was never left any work. No matter if it was Corpus, CBS, Twinbrook or La Salle, there was always one wee lad who said “Sir, I’m gonna go down the corridor, wee Steeky/Cricky has a video in his bag”… And this was it 😂 memories eh?

  5. Loved this wee film, watched it all the time as a kid. Saw a while ago that your man that played Marley was charged with child abuse images, wild.

  6. I watched it for the first time yesterday! Are youse following me?! 😀

  7. “Did ya see that for a shot?”

“You were practically standing on his window sill”

  8. One of Bronagh Gallaghers first films. She done well for herself. Pulp Fiction, Sherlock Holmes to name a few.
