I think that, legally, you need to finish them off to make way for the sewing supplies.

pre-Christmas miracle!
Oh my, bring back childhood memory…
Did opening it summon your mum chanting “I was keeping that for Christmas” ?
Best biscuit ever imo.
I got a 2.5kg tin of them for Xmas one year.
Absolute classic 👏
That sewing kit looks weird…
Must be the favourite child. I only get the rich tea. Singular.
Now to empty all that into ziplocs fill it up with sewing supplies?
First time ever actually seeing biscuits in that tin
Wait, these tins actually contain biscuits?
*rubs hands together and puts the kettle on*
My old barbers used to give these to customers if you came in for a trim on the run up to Christmas.
Oof! I need to go food shopping later – having seen this photo I am now very tempted to add these to the shopping list…
why have the sugar topped ones not been demolished first?
Ah, you did your best /u/odegood, but I know an AI generated image when I see one. Biscuits in those tins only exist in lore. It’s the typical quantum superposition, when unopened there are both sewing kits and biscuits inside. The Observer Effect occurs upon opening, the superposition collapses, and there will always be a sewing kit inside.
In theory we could have two tins that are quantum entangled as such by engaging the Observer Effect we are left with a sewing kit but also with the knowledge that the entangled tin partner absolutely contains biscuits.
Said biscuit containing tin will almost certainly cease to exist. There will be some hitherto undescribed law of physics that requires the annhiliation of that entangled partner upon superposition collapse. If I happen to become the first person to accurately model this phenomenon, I’ll be sure to call it Odegood’s Law.
It’s a bit early for Christmas biccies.
I’ve just bought a tin of these. Bloody love them.
This belongs in r/BritishSuccess
Surely this is a r/britishsuccess ?!
I can hear, smell, feel and taste that experience
I’ve heard stories that these contained biscuits but never have I seen it before.
Grandmas in Italy do the same thing😂😂. We really all live the same lives
Wait so where’s the needles living then?
Didn’t know these were still a thing, reminds me of chistmases as a kid
Holy shit, you found one in its larval stage!
Who put biscuits in the sewing tin?
Wait, you mean those tins actually do come with actual biscuits in them and not buttons?
ok….US resident here. But used live in the Persian Gulf before. We used to get these there as well. I swear there used to be a cookie in the mix that had tiny raisins/currants in them. I never seem them here in the US and none in this pic. ?
We used to buy these for £2 pounds in Asda in the old days around 2007
The soft little swirly ones are the best, thats why they double it up
This makes me both happy and sad at the same time.
Lol…although there’s not much difference between them and chewing on some sewing thread dipped in sugar.
