We don’t think it was intentional, but Meghan Markle has revealed her secret sauce for flawless makeup in a social media reel.
Visiting New York with Prince Harry for a couple of appearances, the ex-Duchess filmed some BTS details of their trip. Along with a variety of shoes, clothes, pizza, and sushi, the scene also featured a makeup shot.
Essentially, Meghan Markle took a DIY approach to beauty, with a sneak peek at compact foundations made by her friend Victoria Jackson at The Original No Makeup Makeup company. But that wasn’t what caught our eye; we spotted something very familiar sitting right beside all the makeup.

The shot in the reel gives a fleeting look at Meghan’s makeup collection, but there is no denying that the makeup fixer she keeps in her beauty bag is Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, which retails for €22/34ml, the perfect handbag size.
Charlotte’s setting spray is the stuff of legend, and there are a few ways to wear it. We wonder if Meghan Markle knows that it’s a multitasker?
Setting Spray Hack

We all know that spritzing your face after makeup can help it stay put for the day. However, if you try this hack, it will last longer, especially if your skin is on the oilier side. Apply your makeup as usual, and then spritz the T-zone one more time.
Before it dries, quickly tap or pat a little extra face powder along the T to boost the staying power of the spray. It’s a hack we got from a leading Tilbury MUA who specialises in weddings, and it works a dream. We don’t finish our makeup now without doing the trick.
New Beauty Role?
Meghan Markle has 4.2m followers on her Instagram account, so we’re pretty sure that focus on her friend’s compact foundation was intentional. Showing her setting spray, probably not so much. But any beauty editor would recognise the gold lid and the frosted casing of Charlotte’s setting spray; nothing else looks like it.
Earlier this month, Meghan documented her trip to the Balenciaga show at Paris Fashion Week, and in that, she had a shot of a selection of Tom Ford lipsticks on display. Is Meghan Markle simply showing us snippets of her glam life, or could she be angling for a new career in beauty as the face of something? Only time will tell.
