Again where is the meme this sub is a joke at this point
Not denying the figures, but can we have a source please ☺️
Cant wait for brexit 2: The return of Farrage /s
Sovreignty is better than food because its the longest word a Brexiteer knows.
Country’s just gagging for more with Farage. Soon after election they’ll solve immigration by making the country so undesirable that nobody wants to come here.
Right, this isn’t even a fucking meme now
What is a standard of living measured against, and why are we so behind on that graph?
Is there a source for this?
FDI actually rose a percentage of GDP from 2016/22 vs 08/15.
It was honey for a select few I’m sure 🤗
And yet they double down with farage
Bunch of turkeys voting for Christmas.
Enjoy “are sovereignty”
Everybody else – tax wealth not work and let’s actually fix this economic mess.

It never does to underestimate how stupid and easily lied to a majority of the population are. Cut to happy smiling Farage loving life and his EU pension.
The dildo of consequences rarely arrives lubed.
The nation is been punished for voting Brexit by the super elites, the real rulers of this country.
The freedom of movement brought them cheaper labour, and now that’s gone they are holding the British Workforce accountable and making them pay.
The standard of living was always going to drop since the 90s either way, only the Brexit tantrum of the Super Elites has upped the severity.
Decades ago a household income was based on one sole earner. Now it’s expected that two people within a house hold will be working thus increasing the household income. Giving “them” room to pay less, and drive profits for the never ending year on year increases they demand.
You only have to look back at the British work force “standards” on things like an hours paid lunch turned into unpaid, turned into 40 mins and now is 30mins for most people.. the British Workforce is been squeezed on purpose make no mistake about it.
Bear in mind the actual act of leaving and subsequent transitional period of leaving the EU took until December 2020. Additionally, there are still nearly 4,000 EU laws retained by the UK to prevent any legal vacuum. The UK has only been able to amend, replace or revoke retained EU laws from 2024.
As for standard of living, the UK is deemed “steady” (but not improving). According to the Office for National Statistics, the UK scores 7.45/10 putting it below the top tier level countries such as Netherlands, Ireland, and the best being Finland (who’s score is 7.8), but above Luxembourg (7.3), Malta, Czechia, Estonia, Spain, Lithuania, France, Portugal, Germany, Greece and Bulgaria being the lowest at 5.9.
The above graph is bollocks.
Let’s blame immigrants
No sources or methodology just a misleading graph

Tax havens at the top of the list of course. True European solidarity.
Whats the source?
Source: trust me bro
What’s the source for this table?
In 2015 the UK had a HDI of 0.931 in 2023 it was 0.946 so no its not worse.
I couldn’t see any reference to where the data is from or what he bottom scale is..
Someone just made it up
What’s the source for the data?
Whilst I don’t disagree that the findings feel accurate, I’d like to see the source.
Seeing all this focus on money instead of the principles behind political decisions despite personal cost has me wondering about how many staunch Remainers would have campaigned to stop the Transatlantic slave trade or supported countries fighting for freedom from the empire.
Because neither of those were good for the economy.
There are plenty of people that voted to leave knowing there was going to be a serious economic hit.
What wasn’t expected, was that we would be leaving the same year as a global pandemic.
no no. This is obviously the fault of labour and illegal immigrants. Any other narrative besides mine is “woke tosh”
Only if experts had told us that the economy would be much worse at the time….
And then the people that brought this ruin on us look at the consequences of their stupidity and blame it on brown people in dinghies.
No it’s {insert_current_goverment_} && {Current_Outrage}
Is there a way back?
Labour have lost to reform on the immigration angle and will probably always lose that argument.
But the Brexit angle is a better argument and it’s in your face now and everyone knows it.
Another Brexit dividend
Brexit was virtually 10 years ago. It’s going to be brilliant once Nigel Farage is Prime Minister 👌
If you’re thick as sht then the obvious answer is to vote for more Brexit stuff
Seems a little fishy this graph…what are the metrics for a start? Weather? Clean water? Proximity to a bowling alley? Cups of tea consumed per day? Number of handbags per household?
I only ask as there are plenty of pockets of misery throughout Europe and plenty of pockets of happiness in the UK.
If there’s one constant I’ve noticed almost my entire adult life, it’s that ‘the UK is this shittest at…. everything’ in the world comparison graphs, surveys, charts, etc etc yet when I travel about, it seems that for the majority pretty much anywhere, life is tough at best.
