I am seeing this becoming a meme
Yes, its true. Germany is the land of hope for Syrian. You should always help when the need is great. Looking away is then the wrong way.
There they are, the criminals the AfD is fearing
Okay But did he have to portray her chins accurately?
@dokdicer I didn’t know that Germany was responsible to save the whole mankind and protect them agains their own countries and the acting regimes and political issues. Sorry. My bad..

While this is probably meant as a genuine gesture of affection, the phrase “Tschüss Merkel” is actually borderline derogatory. It is being used by Anti-Merkel activists as a celebration of her leaving, in addition to being somewhat rude by just calling her “Merkel” instead of the affectionate “Angela” or the respectful “Frau Merkel” or “Frau Kanzlerin Merkel”.
So I think both camps of the refugee debate can derive some satisfaction from this picture.
Fortunately, the arms industry in Germany will continue to make weapons and sell them to everyone, even when Merkel is not the chancelor anymore. Yay!
Edit: ITT: People who try hard to act like Germany isn’t doing anything wrong.

And right after this I saw an eyeblech post. Goddamnit
I wonder if would have been possible for the West to have avoided enabling the creation of all that rubble…
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/sep/15/west-ignored-russian-offer-in-2012-to-have-syrias-assad-step-aside
>Former Finnish president and Nobel peace prize laureate Martti Ahtisaari said western powers failed to seize on the proposal. Since it was made, in 2012, tens of thousands of people have been killed and millions uprooted, causing the world’s gravest refugee crisis since the second world war.
>Ahtisaari held talks with envoys from the five permanent members of the UN security council in February 2012. He said that during those discussions, the Russian ambassador, Vitaly Churkin, laid out a three-point plan, which included a proposal for Assad to cede power at some point after peace talks had started between the regime and the opposition.
>But he said that the US, Britain and France were so convinced that the Syrian dictator was about to fall, they ignored the proposal.
That times are over… “2015 must not repeat” is the new party slogan of her party.
You can also thank her for all the German women raped during the New Year’s Eve sexual assaults.
It is appropriate that her mural is in a destroyed building. It is a good metaphor for her climate policies.
Yeah just take in half syria instead of fixing the problems locally
Welp.
Ugh her involvement in NATO and imperialism and her selling weapons to Saudi Arabia contributed to them having to flee in the first place and now millions are trapped in Turkey because she made a deal with Erdolf but she is somehow the hero? Like when Laschet singlehandedly made the CDU cause climate change while Merkel had nothing to do with this?
It’s good she’s finally gone, maybe now we will judge politicians by their actions again and not by some weird personality cult.
I figured recently that they call her “mama Merkel”. It was funny to me, but new generation immigrants really idolize her.
