  27. Genuinely though, does US have a need for drones like Ukraine do? They’d have air superiority in any war they entered. And why would they take cheap (effective) drones from another country when they could spend 100x the amount with local contractors? I think people forget US wants to keep all of their military spending within their country and are quite happy overspending by doing so

  30. We do have our own drones but not nearly as cheap and easy to produce as Ukraine’s.

  32. The other difference is that Ukraine has a president who is standing up for the principles of the UN and we have a president who is not. Not cool.

  33. Trump is going to be as stingy with Tomahawks as Biden was with F16s, used just to mess with Putin’s head. Ukraine will never get enough to make a real difference. The Rapid dragon missile system is a better match for NATO/Ukraine. Now that is more of a game changer than the M142 HIMARS or Tomahawk. It’s more destructive over a wider area than a tactical nuke.

  34. If it doesn’t happen it’s really sad Ukraine won’t have what it needs and the USA will throw billions in low altitudes junk and lack capabilities. Drones are proven more than tomahawks.
