LEONARDTOWN, Md. — St. Mary’s County is joining communities across Maryland in celebrating Economic Development Week 2025, highlighting the local partnerships, businesses and initiatives that strengthen the regional economy.

Hosted by the St. Mary’s County Department of Economic Development, the week of Oct. 21–24 features a series of networking and business engagement events focused on collaboration and growth. This year’s theme centers on the four pillars of economic development — people, organizations, knowledge and resources — that together build a resilient and interconnected economy.

Oct. 21 – TEDCO Entrepreneur Expo
8 a.m.–7 p.m. | The Hotel at the University of Maryland, College Park
A statewide showcase of innovation, investment and entrepreneurial opportunity.

Oct. 22 – Business After Hours

Oct. 23 – AeroPark Business Alliance
8:15–9:30 a.m. | St. Mary’s County Regional Airport Terminal, 44200 Airport Road, California

Oct. 23 – St. Mary’s Young Professionals Meet-Up

Oct. 23 – Blue Catfish Dinner

A day of recognition honoring the contributions of St. Mary’s County businesses, partners and innovators.

Economic Development Week is coordinated statewide by the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA) to showcase how local investment and collaboration support community resilience and quality of life.
