I’m kazakh, but if I were to visit Finland, could I pass as a local?

  1. Probably not as a typical Finish perosn, but you could be seen as having one Finish parent and one Asian, or maybe seen as a Fingolian, it’s a term to describe Finnish people who have kept asian traits, since fins originated from siberia and some of them, though quite unusual, have kept a lot of asian traits

  2. As honest as I can be without sounding rude, no. You could not. Someone might assume you have mixed parents, but, nobody would think you’re a genuine finn.

  3. Well, not really but we have many ethnicities here, you would blend in pretty easily

  4. The more important question is why would you want to pass as a local?

Mind your own business and be respectful of others, no one cares what you look like.

  5. Nope, but you look like you might be half Russian. And if you’re just visiting, no one would care really one way or the other.

  6. How can you look as a finnish man when you’re not. Just be yourself and proud who you are.

  7. chances are that somebody is going to call police, that is suspicious behavior

  8. You would pass. Some might think one of your parents is from another country. But no one would care that much

  9. Have EVER seen a finn? Even a picture of one? Or are you just an idiot who’ve bought the idea about Finngols ?

  10. Your facial structure resembles more Mongolians than europeans. Modern Finns are europeans with slight slanting eyes and they are blonde or fair hair and huge majority has blue eyes and minority of them has brown eyes.

Nevertheless, nobody cares about your look here, if this is why you are asking.
