The Tigers keep shooting themselves in the foot with penalties. They had several on the ensuing drive and have to give it right back to Vandy.

The Wolverines might’ve just sealed the deal in Ann Arbor. They’re now up 14 with 10 minutes left in the game; the Huskies desperately need a response here.

We have our first punt of the game with 8:55 left to go. Garrett Nussmeier and the Tigers will take over at their own 30 down 31-24.

The Tigers responded with another long drive of their own, but a false start at the 1-yard line pushed them back and they had to settle for a field goal.

Vandy 31, LSU 24 | 11:37 left

Michigan-Washington is heading to the final quarter and Huskies QB Demond Williams Jr. has just thrown his second pick of the game.

It’s Diego Pavia AGAIN! This time he scrambles out of trouble and bolts for the corner of the end zone on a 21-yard run. LSU does not have an answer for the play-making quarterback so far.

Vandy 31, LSU 21

The Commodores haven’t been shy about going for it on fourth down today. This time it was a fourth-and-short in their own territory and Diego Pavia scrambled out of danger and found Makhilyn Young for a first down.

Vandy is driving and near the red zone now.

The Tigers get one right back after Zavion Thomas took a Garrett Nussmeier pass to the house for a 62-yard touchdown. Thomas should’ve been taken down behind the first-down marker, but broke several tackles before bolting to the end zone for the score.

That’s a hell of a response from LSU.

Vandy 24, LSU 21

The Wolverines went for it on fourth-and-2 inside the red zone and the Huskies came up with a huge stop. It’s still tied near the midway point in the third quarter.

The Commodores took advantage of having the first possession out of the break, driving 75 yards in 10 plays and scoring on a pass from Diego Pavia to Cole Spence.

Vandy 24, LSU 13

The Blue Devils continue to waste red-zone opportunities and you have to wonder if it’ll bite them in the end. This time they had several chances inside the 10-yard line (and three tries at the 1), but couldn’t get it into the end zone and had to settle for a short FG after a penalty pushed them back.

Duke 10, GT 7

Remember when we said earlier that LSU hadn’t scored more than 23 points against an FBS opponent all season? Well, the Tigers are going to need at least 25 now to beat Vanderbilt. It’s been such a weird, weird season for LSU so far.

The Sooners have doubled their lead after a tough 10-yard run by Xavier Robinson.

Oklahoma 14, South Carolina 0

The Commodores were able to get that field goal back after a quick-twitch drive got them into range for a Brock Taylor kick.

The Tigers weren’t able to do much with the ball on the ensuing possession and settled for a long field goal, which was made by Damian Ramos.

Vandy 14, LSU 13

The Blue Devils are finally on the board after a first half of red-zone struggles. Darian Mensah hit Landen King in the corner of the end zone for a touchdown.

Duke 7, GT 7

Facing a fourth-and-1 in their own territory, Vandy attempted a pass and Diego Pavia was sacked in the backfield! The Tigers will be able to milk the clock from here and could take the lead before halftime.

Speaking of incredible catches, Duke’s Jake Taylor just pulled one heck of a juggling act in securing this ball:

Vandy’s defense held LSU to a fourth down on the edge of field goal range and Damian Ramos couldn’t make the 52-yarder.
