



I ordered a dehumidifier but received two bottles of capsules instead.
Is it possible for this kind of mistake to occur on Amazon’s end?
If not, who did this?
While I understand that I’ll be receiving a refund, this situation is unacceptable.
The package was delivered to a PackUp location.

I’ve heard some people buy thing then send boxes back for a return without the original item. Perhaps this was one of those that got lumped with a bunch of “returned, to resell” items that didn’t get properly checked.
In any case, it is a mistake and refund will be quick.
Causes for this can vary, but for you as the customer, they’re all on Amazon to remedy. Exception would be that courier agent accidentally placed the wrong parcel into your designated PackUp slot (this would be visible by different name on shipping label).
Now, that being said; “unacceptable”? Really? This whole post kind of reeks like a first-world problem that majority of people would not bother documenting unless it’s repeated.
Edit: now i see that the capsules are in the dehumidifier box. It’s likely some sort of low-key fraud. The pills value could even be over the dehumidifiers, so it’s a poor one 🙂
