Eliza Borg has won The Voice Kids Malta and will represent Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

The final of The Voice Kids Malta took place tonight and was hosted by Maxime Pace. After three weeks of shows, the six finalists competed to for the chance to represent Malta in Tbilisi.

The final was held across two rounds. In the first round, all six singers performed their audition song. Each of the coaches, Gianluca, Destiny and Sarah, selected one singer from their team to progress to the next round. 

The results of the first round were as follows (superfinalists in bold):

In the second round, the three superfinalists performed a duet with their coach and their song for Junior Eurovision. There were also guest performances from Dawn Desira, the winner of the first season of The Voice Kids, and Ramires Sciberras, who represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024. The winner was decided by public voting.

Ramires Sciberras represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Madrid with “Stilla ċkejkna”. He finished 5th in the final with 153 points. This was the first Junior Eurovision entry to be performed entirely in Maltese and Malta’s best result since 2018.

Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Malta debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and has gone on to win the contest twice. In 2013, on their return to the competition in Kyiv, Gaia Cauchi won the contest with “The Start”. She was the first winner of a Eurovision event for Malta. In 2015, Destiny Chukunyere took victory in Sofia with the song “Not My Soul”. The country has hosted the contest twice, the first time in 2014 and then again in 2016.
