On October 14, Mozambique and the European Union signed a digital partnership under the Global Gateway program, which aims to mobilize €300 billion by 2027 for sustainable infrastructure. Signed by Américo Muchanga, Minister of Communication and Digital Transformation, and Myriam Ferran from the European Commission, the agreement supports Mozambique’s 2025–2029 national plan to enhance telecom infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital skills, and inclusion. It also strengthens the country’s integration into the regional digital economy.
