Israel said it struck Hamas militants in southern Gaza on Sunday after they shot at Israeli soldiers who were inside the area that is still under Israeli control, according to the conditions of the Oct. 10 ceasefire.
Israeli aircraft and artillery struck the area, the military said.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held consultations with Israel’s security heads and directed the military to take “strong action” against any ceasefire violations, but did not threaten to return to war.
Hamas said that it was not connected to any clashes in Rafah.

Anti tank rockets fired at Israeli troops, airstrikes on the source.
If Hamas wasn’t involved in the former, they have nothing to complain about. If anything they should be thanking the IDF for getting rid of an apparently heavily armed independent militant group operating out of Gaza for them.
Israel shot a tank at a car full of civilians the other day. The ceasefire never started.
Apparently Israeli settler demolition teams are still operating in Rafah and one of them exploded some unexploded Israeli ordinance. To cover it up the IDF claimed Hamas attacked and started bombing.

“test of ceasfire”… Break ceasefire and expect other side not to break ceasfire after it.

The rest of the world has let Israel murder freely and without consequences, so for now, they won´t stop. Israel KNOWS that Palestine won’t ever forget what they have done, so they now fear the survivors. When you commit unforgivable sins, you know that the punishment will come one way or another, so they want to kill all those kids before they turn into angry adults. That’s all the reasoning behind it. They went biblical with their rage.
This was the glaring problem with the deal. Why wouldn’t it try to restart things after Hamas gave up the remaining captives.
Deal should have done some third party escrow system, maybe a trickle rather than all at once. Build up trust and get the parties in the hang of it.
Plus of course, actual punishments for Israel if they do break the ceasefire. It was designed to fail, either now or after militants disarm (which of course may not happen)
What ceasefire? They just wanted their prisoners back so they could carpet bomb whatever is left of Gaza, they are just finishing their genocide
