Winger Mack Hansen has been ruled out for Ireland’s trip to Chicago to face the All Blacks after sustaining a foot injury in Connacht’s narrow defeat to the Bulls on Friday.

Hansen picked up the injury while scoring a final-minute try for the westerners in their 28-27 loss in Galway.

Centres Bundee Aki (hip) and Robbie Henshaw (groin) will be assessed over the coming days having featured for Connacht and Leinster respectively at the weekend and will travel with the squad on Tuesday.

Ireland play New Zealand at Soldier Field in Chicago on Saturday, November 1st (kick-off 8.10pm Irish time) before returning for Tests against Japan (November 8th), Australia (November 15th) and South Africa (November 22nd) at the Aviva Stadium.

Edwin Edogdo (concussion) and Brian Gleeson (elbow), who both lined out for Munster in their 31-14 win over Leinster at the weekend, had been due to travel with the squad but have now been ruled out due to injury.

Ireland head coach Andy Farrell has called up Munster’s Tom Farrell and Leinster’s Jimmy O’Brien, both of whom featured in Saturday’s game at Croke Park, as injury cover.
