Anti-tourism is a stupid idea, but I have to admit I enjoy watching the panic it causes in societies where people work like slaves all year just to afford a week in Spain.
At least have the decency to be hilarious when you’re kicking up fuck abroad. At least we end our shenanigans with a spectacular balcony dive finale for our adoring audience of Pedros.
In all seriousness, Spain is very lovely but we were harassed a few times this summer simply out of this trendy tourism-hate vibe. It barely mattered that we were trying to speak only in Spanish or that we were not being a nuisance. Also, being brazilian was somehow a positive thing??? Once they noticed that about me then they would chill on all of us (the rest of the group was dutch).

Some cities have size limits for groups of tourists on bicycles etc to avoid stuff like this, a bunch of idiots driving together on narrow crowded streets. Easy, just walk next to your bicycle, or don’t drive in a group of 20
Guaranteed they were all trying to cycle in a massive group through a crowded tight street.
Strangely, the Dutch are not great cyclists when they come here. We have a massive cycle lane network in Barcelona but often they just ignore it and cycle on the road (usually in the bus lane). Of all the tourists, id expect the Dutch to be able to use a bike lane but people lose 40iq points the minute they go in holiday.
I do agree with the Pedros here. When in Rome, do as the Romans. That doesn’t include riding a bike down a too narrow street.
