Sarah Ferguson may rely on her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, to protect herself from any uncertainty that arises- including the possibility of running out of money, it was reported today.
According to a royal source, financial strain could soon become a major point of conflict between the former couple, especially now that both have been sidelined and financially cut off by King Charles.
‘Fergie will say anything to save her own skin-but her fate is closely tied to that of her ex-husband,’ the Daily Mail’s source said.
Amidst the crisis, Royal biographer Andrew Lownie has predicted that much more is yet to emerge regarding Andrew’s alleged connection to Virginia Giuffre, stating today: ‘This is only the beginning for the York family.’
This comes after newly revealed emails, published by The Mail, suggested that Jeffrey Epstein secretly provided financial support to Sarah Ferguson for 15 years.
The Daily Mail’s insider said added: ‘It’s likely that she and Andrew will need each other more than ever.’
‘I believe that Andrew’s investment can allow him to stay at Royal Lodge but if he relies on Fergie’s income to pay bills then there would be source of tension.’
The source also shed light on an interesting angle, revealing: ‘They need their daughters Beatrice and Eugenie to ‘bail them out’ financially after King Charles cut them off over the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.’
For context, Prince Andrew sent shockwaves on Friday by announcing that he would no longer use his royal titles.
