Nyhavn in Copenhagen, Denmark, where TUI Fly Nordic will launch direct winter flights to Phuket.
Denmark joins Norway, Sweden, and the UK as TUI expands its winter flights to Phuket for the 2025–2026 high season. The new routes will run from 2 November 2025 to 16 April 2026, bringing an estimated 61,000 European tourists to Thailand.
TUI Fly Nordic will operate direct flights from Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, and Gothenburg, while TUI Airways UK will fly from Manchester and London Gatwick.
According to Phuket International Airport’s General Manager, the extra services will raise daily flights to about 400 per day. Recent upgrades to runways and terminals mean the airport can now handle 25 aircraft per hour.
The expansion is part of TUI’s strategy to meet strong Nordic demand for winter sun destinations and underlines Phuket’s role as a key tourism hub for Scandinavia and the UK.
