Princess Alexandra and husband welcome second child

Princess Alexandra and her husband, Nicolas Bagory, have announced the birth of their son, Hélie, on Friday.

The announcement was made public Tuesday via a statement from the Grand Ducal Court.

Princess Alexandra, 34, is the fourth child and only daughter of former Grand Duke Henri and his wife Maria Teresa, and the younger sister of Grand Duke Guillaume.

In the brief message sent to the press, the family shared that the couple’s daughter, Victoire, also joins in welcoming the new addition to the family.

No additional details regarding the newborn or the family’s plans have been released. Baby Hélie is ninth in line to the Luxembourg throne, after his sister.
