  6. Hell yeah! This is the first I’ve seen of this. Which makes me think how much of other situations similar to this take place. Glad the defenders got rescued!

  8. Weird, it’s almost like upholding the value of human life and sovereignty was foreign to the people that took the Ukrainian prisoners in the first place.

  9. Pretty crazy to see something like that captured basically entirely by a drone. Hate comparing it to something completely different since it’s its own war, but come on something like that I guarantee it would basically be a fucking automatic medal of honor. You have a couple of your guys take prisoner and you storm the position and get them back alive is absolutely bonkers. I’m really curious why they let the prisoners go. You think they would try and negotiate some sort of release if they were allowed to walk back to their own lines. I wonder if they were hoping to release them to get some Goodwill and maybe negotiate a better surrender.
