I returned to Aberdeen, the oil capital of Europe. Its a rare October sunny day so I ventured to the beach for a coffee and meet up.
We once prided ourswlves on pumping oil and gas here, now its windpower infrastructure is obvious.

Nice to see. There’s no accounting for taste, but a I’ve always thought wind turbines looked great. I’d rather look out at the ocean and see a gleaming white turbine than an oil derrick or a container ship any day of the week.
Looks absolutely stunning. I love visiting European coasts the turbines are popping up everywhere 👌
Love seeing things like this. I used to live in Brighton and visited earlier in the year for the first time in a decade. There were so many turbines off the coast. Last time I was there coal was still accounting for the biggest share of UK electricity and now we have no more coal power stations.
It’s something that should be celebrated as it accelerates, but it’s been more of a quiet revolution.
[Motherfucking wind farms.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uEpdIKzspA)
We are erecting wind turbines of the coast of Massachusetts, US. Trump is actively trying to stop it. Our leader is an idiot.
Would those be the same ones visible from Trumps golf course, and which still causes him pain
I visited Aberdeen last month and was impressed by the offshore wind farm visible from the beach.
