I am an Indian citizen and renewed my passport and had to transfer the residence permit to the new passport. I did not receive a Fiktionbescheinigung but a Bescheinigung. My RP is valid until 2027. Can I travel outside Germany (to India) on this document?

  1. Yes, just have your old passport and the old residence card with you. (And the new passport, of course).
