  1. Because they’re implying you’re having it with something else you big pleb!

Although, I do admit I have once made an entire plastic bowl of these bad bastards, 3 packs just on its own with garlic butter.

  2. I had concerns when I opened a pack the other day, but it expands a little when cooked, and is a decent amount paired with a sauce and some garlic bread. And it’s quite nice, enjoy your tea.

  3. Try the Rana garlic and mozzarella frying gnocchi. Serving size is no better, but they are absolutely banging.

  4. I’m not a small eater and half probably is about right for me. I do occasionally eat the whole pack but really it’s too much for me.

  5. Yeah one whole pack is my lazy dinner, will split with 2 with a sauce but the sauce packs they sell from the same brand are the same cost as the pasta, so just grab some double cream, some mushrooms and seasoning and make my own if I need to split a pack

  6. Usually the serves 2 is put on packaging as a work around for having high sugar/salt levels in the product that the manufacturer would not get away with marketing for one person. It’s clearly for one person though

  7. I don’t know why I can’t find the one that came in the purple packet anymore

  8. In the last months the weight of a pack has gone down. I used to be able to get two meals out of one similar pack but now it’s one and a half. Quite annoying.

  9. I always eat a whole one. Because I’m an adult and I have needs. Pasta needs.

  10. They are really filling to be fair, once you’ve added the sauce and have it with something like garlic bread. I get these a lot from co-op, as a deal for £3.50 with the sauce. It’s not enough to split into 2 meals but slightly too much for one (I’ve bloated myself a few times doing it lol)

  11. I usually down a whole pack of store own brand tortellini (Im not paying them prices for pasta) as a lazy meal.

Even own brand apparently serves 2 or just 1 chunky boyo.

  12. With most of these serves two meals we used to say ‘serves two, if one isn’t very hungry’

  13. Quantity aside, boil for a minute or so rapidly under the recommended time, drain and toss occasionally to avoid sticking. Then fry in a pan with a little oil of your preference until they brown, maybe with onions and bacon bits. Add a tomato sauce or pesto afterwards if you want. I like adding sweetcorn and cherry tomatoes to try make it a bit healthier…

  14. I read the side of a can of Pepsi the other day. 3.2 servings per can…. A 320ml can of Pepsi.

  15. I used to have the Sainsbury’s own version which had ham and cheese inside also a bolognaise version they were amazing

  16. I usually have half of a pack with some pesto and grated cheese. It’s more than enough.

  17. Love this brand, the new Roast Chicken variety is my favourite. Good with lots of melted garlic butter, parmessan and black pepper.

  18. Like the tiramisu that Waitrose does. Serves 5 my fucking hoop

  19. I now do half a packet and steam some veggies to have on the side. I’m reaching an age now where if I want to eat a big portion of food at least some of it has to feel good for me lmao

  20. I used to get 1 pack per person, but now I have one pack to share between two and have a side salad and garlic bread and it’s the right amount

  21. Personally I find it’s the right size for dinner plus the next days lunch. Not exactly 2 dinner servings, but I’m also a bigger guy.

  22. My go-to dinner when it’s just me and the kids for dinner. One bag for them and one for me.

  23. I use this brands gnocchi with achari curry paste and it’s ace. A pack is perfectly sized for one person.
