Medis 🇱🇹
Propably just north germanic vs west germanic word history ..
The language sounds weird but it really is original.
Or this one, from the country that notoriously falls off maps.
I miss these little guys. It’s endearing to see decade old memes from time to time.
Puu
Dutch is a simple language
If you cut a tree, when falls it makes a “boom” sound
So we call it boom
If you cut a branch from a tree, when it falls it makes a “Tak” sound
So we call it tak
If you cut a stick from a branch, when it falls it makes a “stok” sound
So we call it stok
So simple an intuitive
Totally agree, the only thing is that English uses the definitive article wrong, and is a tad bit less superior than the rest of the Scandinavian languages.

The 🇺🇸/🇬🇧 representation cringes me so much just pick the dumb choice 🇺🇸 or the real 🇬🇧 choice
2005 just called, they want the memes back
Boom sounds perfectly normal to me.
Anyway, let’s talk about “Pineapples”
Goed punt, Bal-haar
The dutch and us just use the word that became “beam” in english for Trees.
It’s not as dumb as you think 😉

How awful. Look at the Dutch with disgust or better look away but not in our direction….

There is no other flag denoting English.
Well it comes from the word “Baum” a nice word why change it
Whenever I go to a kiosk or a website and it has English with the American flag I get so offended 😂
Eugh I wish we could use 🏴 for English.
As Welsh and Scots (and Gaelic) exist as languages and there’s no such language as British.
But the *worst* is using 🇺🇸
lmao what a weird word for tree, couldn’t be us
A R B R E
🇳🇱 Boom 🤝 Baam 🇦🇹
Imagine using the same word for tree and the number 3. 😆
Boom boom boom boom
I want you in my room
What’s that weird abomination with stars taking up half our flag?
This gives a whole new meaning to the Venga Boys ‘Boom, boom, boom, boom!!’ who knew that they actually were tree fuckers…
bro is 2016 posting
Bam 🫡
While this is a fine point, picking the same language 4 times really doesn’t sell it as much as you might hope.
They say tree
MET TAKKEN!
🏴Coeden
Pronounced like: KOI-den
Multiple trees or a wood is coed
Meanwhile in Latvia:
Koks
Bomen… Zijn vet relaaaaaxed
