  6. I don’t like traveling with other people, even when there is no criminal behaviour involved. Not a big fan of public transport, and it becoming unsafe maybe is a good time to rethink this whole idea.

    The future of people in their invidual self driving cars is much better, without other people

  7. Lots of other countries have women-only carriages, including here in Mexico. It helps to protect a lot of women, and with a relatively simple solution!

  8. Um I only have two questions one I assume male staff running the train ie conductor and if required due to emergency then police or other services would be allowed in. Second that is going to have some teething issues the creep or troll that claim they identify as women. What about the trans women that might not be passing could they use such a carriage.

    I will say it’s sad we are having a discussion on such a thing but if it helps then it helps.

    Edit: I’m confused reading this thread. Women and girls are primarily the victims of these sex crimes and they’re almost always committed by men. So women are taking action to protect themselves, and a female-only carriage is the most immediate and effective solution. They’re making this decision for themselves. Why would anyone have a problem with this? Surely women’s safety is more important than a man’s feelings? Women shouldn’t have to endure sexual assault while men figure out how to stop it their way.

  10. Visited the UK for the first time in nearly 10 years and couldn’t believe how many posters there were on the underground telling you how to behave. Even more than the adverts.

  11. I mean it’s a nice idea in principle however how is the female only carriage going to be enforced.

    Guarantee some guys will just use it as it will be less packed, or they’ll jump onto a carriage at the last moment not realising it’s the female one, or some won’t even care.

    But the main thing is, if you are willing to do something as horrific as rape, pretty sure you’d also be willing to sneak onto the wrong carriage

  12. Back in the day, train stations used to have Ladies Only Waiting Rooms. It might be a good idea to bring those back.

  13. Ideas on how to start segregating men and women wouldn’t be an issue at all in 2025 if it wasn’t for mass immigration.

    Instead of integrating them into our liberal society, where men and women mix, we have chosen to sacrifice our liberal society and start segregating men and women like they are used to from back home.

    Just another example of us accomodating and changing our ways to be more “in line” with the society they fled from.

    At a time when, as a society we’re no longer able to enforce women only spaces to exclude biological males from them and have to pretend that that’s ok.

    Secondly, why do we need to implement an India style policy on Britain, what happened to the English gentleman 🤔 I suppose just like they dont make Welsh Choir boys like they used to, I guess they don’t make English gentleman like they used to.

    Yet this is the society that the left cheerlead for.

  17. As per contemporary logic, couldn’t any man caught riding in a women-only carriage simply say that they self-identify as a woman, or does that only apply to bathrooms, athletics and prisons?
