Hi everyone, while separating our clothes for washing,an insect fell off from our laundry basket. It was pretty fast and went under our rug. Then, I sprayed it with raid. Does anyone know what type of insect is this? I live in Saarland for reference.

  1. Looks like a slug that’s partially dried out.

  2. Looks like a very wet silverfish. They’re more or less harmless, but they do eat the glue in book bindings and sometimes the pages, and can break them, and are considered a pest.

    They nest in dark places, wet places and under furniture sometimes.
