  1. a party who obviously wants my vote, and will get it

  2. Finally, that should be a nice vote winner for a decent number of people

  3. First decent green party policy.

It’s a shame NIMBYism is in their DNA.

  4. I’m interested, from the perspective of someone who is considering voting for ‘Your Party’ rather than these guys, what makes them more appealling than the Greens right now?

I can anticipate some people might be lefties for Brexit, who want to stay out of the EU, are there other arguments?

  5. Finally someone in politics who has a spine and proposes to do what should be obvious and admit we made a mistake.

  6. A policy I can get behind.

It’s just a shame that some of their other policies are batshit, but that’s to be expected with populists, I guess.

  7. I really want to like the Green party but I’m going to need to see if they change tact on some of the more insane policies before I can vote for them.

Polanski is largely saying all the right things so far but it’ll be for nought if come 2028 they don’t change certain things in their manifesto.

  8. I like most of his views. I’m worried about his views on internal UK integrity though. Would he tolerate the SNP and their misleading hate of the UK? Having the UK in the EU would take much of the wind of their sails, but if there’s an ounce of hate for the UK in him then he can obviously never be allowed near the halls of power, let alone running the show.

  9. I may not agree with everything they stand for, but Zack and the Green Party are a breath of fresh air. I’m getting tired of the rage bait and constant negativity from Reform and the MSM

  10. At last someone has the bravery to speak about the elephant in the room. Brexit was disastrous for our economy

  11. It’s honestly a complete no brainer when you’re already fighting Reform directly.

  12. People voting Green in the next General Election would work in Reform’s favour by taking away Labour seats in metropolitan constituencies.

  13. The greens candidate in my area was a complete hippy, and got eaten for lunch by the Labour candidate at local hustings. I think the greens may well suffer from the same thing as reform- finding enough decent candidates that stand up to scrutiny in different constituencies. If the reversed their nuclear stance I’d vote for them.

  14. Not going to happen though is it? They’ll all say anything to get elected. Just because he’s saying what you want to hear doesn’t mean he’s being honest.

  15. It’s a bit weird to have a political party that’s not the same as all the others.

  16. Brilliant! He just needs to change his parties views on nuclear power and immigration.

  17. Gonna be downvoted for it, but IMO we need to see what deal we get with the EU before we actually say we are rejoining.

Being in the EU was a massive bonus for us but we also had many custom and opt out benefits that put us in a really really good spot.

I would love to rejoin the EU for numerous reasons but exploring a deal is absolutely the way to go.

If it’s just join conventionally, then I see that being a real issue for us I.e. adopting the Euro

  18. Great but isn’t he anti-NATO? Genuine question, but that is a huge red flag if true.

  19. Whihc would probably mean joining the Euro, which would be a big no no

  20. This is just going to split the vote and benefit reform. I’ll be voting for whoever is most likely to keep reform and the conservatives out being labour or lib dem in my area.

  21. So he wants to pursue MMT economics but also hand over financial sovereignty over to the European central bank lol

  22. It is so frustrating that no one party is on the same page with the big issues I care about. I’m firmly supportive of reversing Brexit – so well done, Greens – but firmly against their stance on the border, defence, infrastructure planning, and so on.

    Pity.

  23. I’m a green and would like to keep our nukes. Would be insanity to give them up

  24. That’s not likely to happen without us giving significant concessions to the EU and we won’t have the same position and leverage as we used to.
