Princess Kate ‘emotional plea’ to William amid King Charles historic visit

Kate Middleton, King Charles’s beloved daughter-in-law, seems to be taking on a mammoth task for the monarch as he conducts an important visit to Rome with Queen Camilla.

Charles and Camilla are on their two-day visit to the Holy See as the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children, enjoy their break before moving into their new home at Forest Lodge.

The Princess of Wales has been known as the mediator in the family and has been making efforts to fulfil a wish for Charles, even if Prince William is unwilling to cooperate in the matter. The royal family has been plagued by family crisis in the past few years and Charles is hoping Kate can help restore peace as he handles bigger tasks for the monarchy.

Last month, the monarch finally met his estranged son, Prince Harry, after nearly two years of radio silence during a meeting at Clarence House, which seemingly went quite well. Meanwhile, William has still not spoken to his brother given his grievances.

According to a close pal of the heir to the throne, William is “not heartless” and a part of him “really misses” Harry and “how things used to be, the jokes, the closeness”.

However, the trust between William and Harry have been broken and there are fears if it can ever be rebuilt. But Kate and Charles are persistent and urging William to take step.

“Kate often tells him that their mother would be devastated to see them like this,” the source told RadarOnline. “She keeps urging him to rise above it and take the first step.”

The insider noted that Charles “just wants peace” and he is “longing for the day his sons can be in the same room without it turning into a showdown”.

While Kate works in the backdrop to carry out the task entrusted by the King, the monarch is attending a historic service in the Vatican with Pope Leo.
