This is the exact same place where they very recently discovered two unexploded bombs. Personally I feel like maybe it’s time to actually do some investigating to figure out why this street is rammed full of old bombs, rather than just assuming it’s job done every time they defuse one.
It’s because Bridgend was the storage for a lot of ww2 munitions. Brackla is built on top of a very old massive underground complex of bunkers where a load of this stuff was stored. The Royal ordinance factory really was huge in bridgend.
Unfortunately the bomb exploded, resulting in mass improvements to the town centre
Police station was sat on that for years no way they didn’t know about it.
