I met a Russian soldier who told me they came to bring order to Ukraine. I found his hometown to see what his “order” looks like. In one village, half the men went to war — now it’s a “village of war glory.” Those who stayed are so poor they dismantled a house to make a coffin.

  4. The fire wood part is dumb. You can go to rural USA or France and find the same thing. 

  5. “Dismantling a house to make a coffin” is one of the most Russian things i ever heard of.
