1. Agreed, geoengineering is a good idea but everything is worse when handled solely by private companies. I would think Trump would wanna get in on a solution that doesn’t require him to cede on his precious coal power!…

2. They saw Snowpiercer and thought it was a good idea. They’re not going to be in the back of the train with the rest of us.

3. It will end badly whatever happens. Geoengineering is moving the deckchairs on the Titanic.

4. It is utter hubris to even think they can.

5. In the mean time, shares of the involved companies will
   make many rich.
