  1. Love physical copy photos. I think these figuratively sum up London quite well. Other commenters are being mean.

  2. Reminder that just because it’s on film doesn’t automatically make it good. Framing, depth of field, lighting, hell an actual subject are all much more important.

  3. they’re all pretty bad and the fact they’re on film doesn’t really save them but hey if you’re happy I’m happy

  4. Interesting, it looks a lot like pics from 30 years ago

  5. Whenever people talk about their past during the colour film days, I imagine they are seeing everything in grainy quality.

  6. Photos taken this way always bring a sense of sad nostalgia for me.

Love this style, thanks for sharing.

  7. Kilburn high road is really as shit as it looks in the photo!

  8. Lived in this area for 25 years up till recently, love the photos, amazing style

  9. Did you take the film to Chernobyl before having it developed?

  10. Thanks for sharing with us all those nice pics that you took when you were in London.

Is Pic 4. one of the original remaining blocks of flats on The Workington Green Estate near Ladbroke Grove in North Kensington?

  11. Cool shots OP! Can I ask what camera you’re using? 🙂

  12. You’ve masterfully captured how bleak London is this time of year. Wet, cold, miserable, grey 🤣

  13. Why is the quality of 6 so much better. The style it adds to the first photo is just right. No3 why do the sides dim down.

It is odd, I have some photos from the 80’s that are as good as modern digital (my dad had a photography phase) so I’m not too sure what makes a good photo apart from the aesthetics a lower quality image has.

  14. I like your pictures OP. There’s some miserable bastards in here

  15. I like the one where you’re hiding behind the tree. Strong peeping Tom vibes.
