  1. Sweden’s and UK’s doctors and engineers top up the list

  2. I’m sure this will be a civil and reasonable comment section, right guys?

On a more serious note, while these statistics are troubling, I always take luxembourgish stats with a grain of salt.

  3. This graph is always going to be misleading, particularly without any direct links to sources to understand all the assumptions in the methodology. Ultimately, rapes vs reported rapes vs reported rapes followed up vs rape convictions, all will have different definitions and processes country to country. It is probably one of the least consistently defined legal terms that can appear in criminal statistical reporting.

Secondly, notably this data is being published by a right wing think tank in the UK. I am sure I could find different representations of the same dataset from groups with different agendas.

  4. Keep in mind that these data are rapes declared to the police. Countries with better protection for women will also get a higher amount of rape declaration, which is good. Without this context for each country, take this graph with a grain of salt.

  5. Restore Britain must be the first place u wanna get your graphs from 😀

  6. I’m not really surprised because Luxembourg had tons of cases of domestic violence. But then again are these numbers of people being accused of rape (and we know in some cases there are false rape accusations which can destroy someone’s life too!) or rape convictions?

  7. And where is Italy? This is not serious data

  8. You can check the annual police reports. The yearly reported rapes number is given.

  9. It really is way more since all this governments lie at everything, would not surprise they do the same with this
