Country music star Drake White was forced to cancel a show this week in New York after a bus crash, according to multiple reports.

Whie shared a video to social media on Thursday to share the news.

“Our bus was involved in an accident this morning at 2:30 AM and we will not be able to play the show in Albany New York tonight,” he wrote on Instagram. “Everyone is safe and our driver is getting medical attention as we speak.”

In the video that accompanied the post, White said that “everybody is OK as far as the band and the crew.”

“The bus driver is currently in the hospital,” he said.

Taste of Country reported that the driver suffered a stroke.

White made headlines earlier this year with tragic news as he and his wife, Alex, revealed that their newborn baby daughter died.

“On Sunday, August 31st our precious daughter, Della Elizabeth White, went peacefully to be with Jesus,” he wrote on Instagram. “We are so thankful for the holy moments God gave us with her. The Lord has been so near and close to us during this difficult time. He has held us up and sustained us through it all. We are heartbroken and soul tired, but we know we will get through this difficult time with the strength, peace, and joy that only our Heavenly Father can provide.

“May Della be held in the arms of Jesus until we see her again someday.”

He then shared some scripture.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit — Psalm 34:18,” Whtie wrote. “I am dying from my grief; my years are shortened by sadness. Misery has drained my strength; I am wasting away from within. But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands. – Psalm 31:10, 14-15.”

White finished the statement by writing out his daughter’s information.

“Della Elizabeth White,” he wrote. “29 weeks. 3lbs, 3.5 ox, 13.25 in. Born: Sunday, August 31st 2025 at 8:52 AM and peacefully went to be with Jesus at 9:12 AM.”

The couple shared the news of the pregnancy back in May with People Magazine. The couple conceived Della via IVF, and she was due in November. They already have a son, William Hawk, who was also conceived via IVF.

Country Now reported that both Alex and Drake have been through tough times across the past couple years. The site said that drake suffered a stroke while performing in 2019, and that Alex was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and a rare neurological disorder called chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy back in 2020.
