Ex-French President Sarkozy says ‘not afraid’ ahead of jail term • FRANCE 24 English

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy says he is “not afraid” of going to jail, as he prepares to begin a five-year sentence on Tuesday for seeking campaign funds from Libya in 2007. Speaking to La Tribune Dimanche, Sarkozy said he has packed his bags and feels calm ahead of his incarceration at Paris’s Santé prison.
