You are less likely to willingly engage in regrettable sexual intercourse if you avoid alcohol.
Is weed less expensive than booze now? It’s been forever since I bought either and am genuinely curious. For example if I was going on a night out with friends, like to see a concert: what would an evening of smoking weed cost vs buying drinks?
As a security guard on the club doors of London I would prefer dealing with everyone smoking weed instead drinking you always get a few who hide weed outside and they are the easiest to deal once they’ve had a smoke way better then dealing with drunks
Who told you weed is cheaper?
Weed use is on the decline as well. People are just spending more time in their house doom scrolling through socials. Like i am right now.
That’s because alcohol is poison and we’ve experienced first hand the effects of alcoholism on a family unit.
Or ket or coke, especially when one ticket is the same price as a round or two
Weeds way better booze should be illegal imo after all it kills weed doesn’t, the Karen’s who moan about weed are the same ones who smoke baccy all day & drink everyday
They pré-drink @ home = cheaper 😉
A 3.5g pack of weed costs less than a round of drinks, and it lasts you a lot longer, much better value for money than a pint for £8.50
I’m trying to be objective but this is my experience. Weed has gotten a few people I know off drinking. Some who were casual drinkers and some who were problem drinkers. In both cases they are either drinking less or not at all. Some have genuinely made a better lifestyle choice (replacing the occasional drink with an occasional bowl) some have replaced one addiction for another. But even in the worst case, the guy with a weed addiction problem is in a better state than the guy with an alcohol problem. I known of more than one person who died because of alcohol. Nobody has died of chronic weed addiction. But most of the people I know who use weed are no worse than most drinkers in their habits. I think about how much some folk I know spend on it, none of it going to the taxman, just criminals pockets. I agree it’s not without any downsides (though in my opinion the downsides are often greatly overstated by cannabis opponents and not worth continuing with prohibition which does more harm). I’ve even seen there is evidence that alcohol consumption goes down in places where weed is legal (not just gen z). It seems utterly barmy that there’s not even a serious debate yet. I do wonder if the alcohol industry plays a part in that.
I think most of them are sensible enough to stop in a pub before hand for a few cheaper drinks.
No they are all doing K
Given that I can get a quarter of weed for £50, and I get totally spannered on half a gram, we’re talking less than £4 for an enjoyable night. Booze is ridiculously expensive at these events.
That’s because they’re snorting Bolivian marching powder.
2 months sober from weed and 8 months sober from alcohol, spend your money on better shit
Drinking water and snorting coke
Cocaina has entered the chat
I think Gen Z just noticeably drinks less in general?
True to a large extent, but absolutely no idea why you would rather be in a big crowd of people stoned instead of drunk.
I don’t smoke skunk… so that 3.5 bag is never cheaper than £50…
All kit, weed and old school coke is making a come back. All are cheaper for a longer better high than their £15 beers.
Weed > alcohol argue with the wall
Actually its less weed and more ket and gas.
As a Gen X I’m drinking less at gigs and I love my beer. It’s because it’s overpriced piss that I resent drinking out of a plastic beaker.

For context, I don’t have the exact numbers but we all know compared to 10 years ago, prices are insane. Everything that was £1 in a shop is now £2-2.50. The price of 1g (buying more gets you better value of course) but it was £10, to get 1g now it is £10… so whenever I hear whatever excuse for prices going up I think “OKAY BUDDY SURE”.
Dealers the only ones in the country holding down prices ahaha.
Also I am aware their customers are poorer so they can’t really up them anyway but still I love it. In turn it’s essentially cheaper than it was. Also alcohol is straight poison, makes you make deadly choices without a second thought and feels awful the whole next day. Who tf would drink given a choice really
Bro the scene is ruined thanks to all these alternative lifestyle people who don’t understand the concept of drinking merry
U can’t be miserable watching ur bank account whilst you ordering drinks, this is fucked. How are people supposed to enjoy themselves?
Nothing to do with the £12 pints
Went to see a band a couple of months ago, had a gummy which cost basically nothing, absolutely flying all night. Loved the music, didn’t need to go for a piss at any point, woke up the next day feeling fine. Beats booze in every respect.
