The ERA motor is based on Silgan’s patented LifeCycle technology, which replaces metal springs with plastic components, making recycling easier.
The PE (polyethylene) pump is presented in combination with a PE tube, while the cap can be made of PE or PP (polypropylene), which are also recyclable. PCR [1] recycled material options are also available. Manufacturing is carried out by Silgan in partnership with Albéa and CTL Pack for the tubes.
According to a study conducted by the manufacturer, 61% of consumers surveyed perceive this tube pump format as more premium than traditional pump dispensers.
In response to this expectation, ERA offers exceptionally smooth operation for precise dosing and achieves a dispensing rate above 95%, helping to minimize product waste. The system is suitable for skincare, sun care, makeup, and hair care applications, including natural and preservative-free formulations.

Industrial production of ERA is set to begin in November 2026.
