The Diamonds last tasted success across the ditch in early 2021, and on Sunday they’ll be facing a rejuvenated Silver Ferns outfit buoyed by the news of coach Dame Noeline Taurua’s return.

While Taurua won’t immediately take the reins as head coach, the decision to reinstate the master coach puts an end to the saga that has no doubt been a distraction for players in their back-to-back 17-goal losses.
Both sides head into Sunday’s game three with just one change to their squad – Sophie Dwyer comes in for her first taste of international netball in 2025 with Amy Parmenter dropping out for Australia while Amelia Walmsley returns at the expense of Peta Toeava for the Ferns.
