Vettel’s been doing some great work in the past few years, he’s been speaking out against sexism and homophobia (including prominently displaying LGBTQ+ symbolism in some rather repressive regimes) and he was one of the first drivers to speak out against Russia after the start of the Ukraine invasion, saying that there was no chance he would be racing in Russia well before it became clear that the Russian Grand Prix was going to be cancelled.
He’s also been campaigning against littering, which will be a sop to the sort of Question Time audience members who don’t see bigotry and discrimination as a problem unless it’s aimed at them personally!
(He still doesn’t have the talent to be a 4x WDC, though. He’s massively out of place when you list the drivers with the most wins and championships!)
Of course he is, he takes the knee wearing rainbow coloured tops. I’m only surprised he hasn’t been given a daily chat show.
I vote for a cross-over format where Ann Widdecombe drives for Aston Martin.
Huh, I’m actually interested to hear what he’s like. Don’t care for QT generally, with the ridiculously short amount of time to discuss complicated things and how it turns into a slagging off match.
